Security Architecture Consultant
The security architecture advisor will participate in the execution of the application security testing program which will serve to improve the security posture of the applications in the IT infrastructure, servers, and network applications. They will regularly perform vulnerability and security architecture assessments, provide feedback on issues related to program execution, participate in the creation of action plans, contribute to identifying and monitoring risk corrective measures, provide advice on mitigation measures, processes, and best security practices, and act as a spokesperson on security-related topics.
- Duties and responsibilities
- Develop and review the security architectures of complex systems
- Identify security objectives in compliance with security policies and standards
- Conceptualize and implement security management solutions
- Define technical security specifications in contracts
- Conduct security audits and monitor compliance with procedures
- Categorize the organization's assets; Evaluate the residual risk when there's a discrepancy between the defined architecture and the one implemented
- Requirements
- 10 years of experience in the field of information technology
- A minimum of 5 years in information security
- Must have at least a DEC in computer science or information technology
- 4 years of experience in security architecture (privacy, authentication, identity and access, standards, policies, intrusion detection, security perimeter, etc.)
